Need a windsurf board nose guard? The Deviator helps deflect your rig away from your board’s nose, offering inexpensive but highly effective insurance against costly board repairs.
The wedge design of The Deviator helps reduce the chance of any board damage from slams and catapults. It initiates earlier deflection, which is especially handy when practicing complicated moves. The Deviator sailing aide only weighs 6 oz but packs serious protection, making it a must-have for every windsurfer.
The Deviator is an additional line of defence to prevent your rig from slamming down on your windsurf board nose guard and potentially damaging your windsurf board. A windsurf mast deviator is constructed to save your board’s nose ride after ride. A windsurf mast deviator attaches to your mast base and creates an obstacle between your windsurf mast and the windsurf board nose. It has a simple yet efficient design that lets you pull off even the most extreme freestyle moves without handicapping your performance while protecting your board from crashes during practice. When your rig is careening toward the nose of your board at lightning speed, the mast hits the deviator and is forced right or left, preventing a collision with the nose of your board or with the windsurf board nose guard.
With the widest point measuring 5 in (12.8 mm) and 9.25 in (24.5 cm) long, The Deviator is made to sit in front of and under your mast base.
From beginners to rental operations, The Deviator is well worth the low investment. It is currently the most effective, tried-and-tested windsurf board nose guard available in the market.
