Why Youll Love the Takoon Cloud One

Accessible Parawing Progression

The Cloud One is built for riders who want to enter the world of parawing with less complexity. Its stable shape, simple size range, and forgiving handling make it easier to learn, progress, and build confidence.

Stable and Confidence-Inspiring

The same general design concept as the Cloud gives the Cloud One healthy, predictable flight behavior. It stays composed in unstable or gusty conditions and gives riders a calm feel on the water.

Durable Triple Ripstop Construction

A 54 g/m triple ripstop canopy provides strong resistance to wear and repeated stress, making the Cloud One a reliable choice for regular use, learning, and day-to-day progression.

Full Carbon Bar Included

The included full carbon bar is lightweight, rigid, ergonomic, and precise, giving the Cloud One a direct control feel with smooth depower and reduced fatigue during longer sessions.

Cloud One vs. Cloud

Choose the Cloud One If

Choose the Cloud One if you want a more accessible, durable, and forgiving parawing with excellent value, simplified sizing, stable handling, and strong performance for learning and progression.

Choose the Cloud If

Choose the Cloud if you want the lighter, higher-performance Skytex version with better low-end efficiency, sharper response, and a broader five-size range for more advanced riders.

The Cloud One uses a durable triple ripstop canopy, while the Cloud uses lighter technical Skytex materials. The Cloud One is the better entry and progression choice; the Cloud is the higher-performance option.

Size Guide

Tip: Choose your Cloud One size based on rider weight, foil size, skill level, wind strength, current, local conditions, and whether you prioritize compact handling or easier low-end power.

Technical Specs

Design Features

Optimized Stable Profile

The Cloud One uses a robust and optimized profile engineered for stability, efficiency, and reliable performance in a wide range of parawing conditions.

Internal Diagonals

Internal diagonals support the profile while reducing the number of front bridles, helping create smooth, precise, and responsive flight without unnecessary complexity.

Intermediate Aspect Ratio

The 2.56 aspect ratio gives the Cloud One a balanced feel between upwind performance, compact handling, stability, and easy control.

Curved Tips for Maneuverability

Slightly curved tips improve fluidity and make the Cloud One feel especially stable and enjoyable through jibes, direction changes, and foil transitions.

Performance Feel

Smooth, Predictable Power

The Cloud One delivers stable pull with smooth and effective depower, helping riders adjust power instantly as wind, foil speed, and riding direction change.

Excellent Upwind Ability

The efficient profile and balanced aspect ratio give the Cloud One strong upwind performance, helping riders get into position before stowing the wing and focusing on the foil.

Easy Packing on the Water

Balanced line lengths make the Cloud One feel natural in the hands and easier to pack in a single movement when transitioning from powered riding to downwind glide.

Great for Regular Use

The Cloud Ones durable canopy and stable handling make it a practical everyday parawing for riders who want to learn, progress, and ride often without chasing the lightest possible build.

Carbon Bar & Safety System

Full Carbon Bar

The included carbon bar is lightweight, rigid, and ergonomic, giving the Cloud One a secure grip and precise control in all conditions.

Smooth Efficient Depower

Depower is smooth and efficient, allowing instant power adjustment depending on wind strength, riding line, foil speed, and trajectory.

Integrated Safety Line

A dedicated safety line helps automatically neutralize the parawings power if the rider falls or if the wing slips away.

Harness-Line Ready

The bar is designed to accept a harness line, helping reduce rider fatigue and improve comfort during long sessions.

Durable Triple Ripstop Construction

54 g/m Triple Ripstop Canopy

The entire canopy is made from 54 g/m triple ripstop fabric, a proven material chosen for durability, wear resistance, and long-term profile stability.

Built for Performance and Accessibility

The Cloud One balances performance, durability, and price, making it a smart choice for riders who want strong parawing performance without jumping straight to the premium Skytex Cloud.

Stable and Predictable Handling

The triple ripstop construction supports stable flight and predictable handling, giving newer parawing riders the confidence needed to progress.

Reliable for Repeated Use

Durable materials make the Cloud One well suited for regular sessions, repeated setup and packing, and the learning curve that comes with progressing in parawing.

Setup & Practical Details

Color-Coded Bridles

Color-coded bridles and clear front, middle, and rear line identification make setup faster and help reduce tangles before you get on the water.

Fast, Intuitive Relaunch

The line color system helps make relaunch quick and intuitive, especially when learning, resetting on the water, or sorting lines after packing.

Simple Three-Size Range

The Cloud One comes in three carefully selected sizes, making the range easy to understand and helping riders choose the right size without unnecessary complexity.

Storage Bag Included

The included wide-opening storage bag makes packing and storage easier, with a dedicated pocket for accessories or a repair kit.

Recommended Board Pairing

Takoon recommends pairing the Cloud One with a midlength or downwind-style foil board that offers enough volume for stability, glide, and comfort. For intermediate riders, a board with roughly 1020 liters above rider weight and a length between about 57 and 70 gives a strong balance of progression, glide, and maneuverability.
